What you going to eat at the camps?

You are so lucky! During the camps Ilu néni or Piri néni going to take care of you at the center. They will cook for you, even if you are on a special diet (for example I have lactose intolerance and also vegetarian).

The breakfast usually at 8.00 am, there are some snacks and fruits for "tízórai" (you going to learn this special words) in the bigger break. Usually 1.00 pm is the lunch and 6.00 pm is the dinner. For lunch you will get soup, main dish and dessert. For dinner you will have the main dish.

According to the Hungarian and Transylvanian tradition most of the dishes contains meat, paprika, onion and garlic.

If the group is going to the "expedition" (sleeping one night outdoor), then the participants going to cook for you! Of course in the planning session you and the instructors will help to the kids/youth and they will get the ingredients with the necessary equipment. The usual rule is 'one hot meal is needed' for the dinner, the breakfast and the"tízórai" can be cold meal.

For special occasions the group gets Kürtös Kalács, which a traditional sweet. I loved it
